New Web Series

Hey, I announced on Facebook last week that I'm writing the music to a series called "Shadow: The Resurrection." I started working on it in February and have about 10 episodes done already. It's still an organic process and some episodes will be reworked in the future, but pretty soon we'll have enough for viewers to start connecting to the characters and getting the story down. Hope you're all well. I'm back to writing the end credits of the next episode.

Another trailer out

A few days ago I finished a small horn and trumpet duet I was commissioned to write and now I'm free to continue my series of trailer music for the game 'Paragon'. I have no idea what the game is about, but each character makes an appearance and I want to write the music that evokes what I feel is the core of that character. It's all unofficial, I'm not hired to do this, but damn it, I'm a composer and this is what I do. So I do it.

Newest piece

My latest piece 'Battle for Mars, 1879!' is out on my music page. It's a film score style piece about a post Civil War era army fighting Martian war machines. The hero blows them all up, unites the Martian clans and rides off into the sunset. Complete with mysterious opening, battle cues and ending credits. You'll love this piece.

Little piece

Hey all, here's a little piece to wet your appetite while I sequence my huge Sci-Fi piece "Battle for Mars, 1879!" Computer issues, it's complicated, but I have music for you. So enjoy, that's an order!

New Piece

Here's a piece I worked on during the summer. You will find it right under the music tab. The purpose was strictly for practice, it's not meant for publishing, doesn't belong in a film and may probably never be used. But that's fine, I'm sharing it with you today. I will definitely use the love theme again somewhere. It's a noble King's theme and a Love theme in the style of a film score overture. The ending is Goldsmith-esq, so if you catch it, kudos to you. Enjoy!

June Concert

New concert coming up on June 2nd at Ventura High School with the Ventura County Concert Band. It's FREE and at 3pm. Great music and I'll be conducting "Scene d'Amour" from Alfred Hitchcocks's 'Vertigo'. Go to this concert! You'll have fun. See ya there!

New cues up from recent project

I have some cues up from the project I did with 'Smoke and Mirrors' titled 'Any World You're Welcome To'. Music was not used for the final product, but I put it up for all to listen to. Enjoy!

New Piece

I've just finished orchestrating a new band piece, high school level, and will get the score read in two weeks. After I smooth out (or rough up) some parts it will be sent to the press and ready to purchase. Kudos all around!

Haiku 're-do'

Thanks to a suggestion I changed the key in 'Haiku' and now I think it's an easier read. I'm so excited about this piece now! I've already talked to two middle school band directors who want to look at it. When you purchase 'Haiku', you will get the updated version.

'Kumquat Jamboree' ready to purchase!

That's right, 'Kumquat Jamboree' for Concert Band is now available for purchase. It's a Grade 5 for full concert band and is really a delight. Leave a comment in my guest section.
